What is Amtomat? ▾
Amtomat is an AI-powered service that translates Austrian authority letters into plain language. Upload your letter – the AI explains what the authority wants, what deadlines apply, and what you need to do. No bureaucratic language, no long sentences.
Which documents can I upload? ▾
PDFs, photos (JPG, PNG) and pasted text. Both printed and scanned letters are recognised. Multi-page letters can be photographed page by page.
Is my data safe? ▾
Yes. Your letter is not stored – it is only briefly processed for analysis and then immediately deleted. All servers are in the EU, fully GDPR-compliant.
How many letters can I analyse for free? ▾
Without registration you can analyse up to 5 letters per month for free. For more analyses you can register.
In which languages is Amtomat available? ▾
Amtomat explains authority letters in German, English, Turkish, Croatian, Bosnian, Serbian and Ukrainian. More languages coming soon.

Does Amtomat work on mobile? ▾
Yes, Amtomat is fully optimised for smartphones. You can photograph a letter directly with your phone's camera – the app automatically opens the rear camera.
What does Amtomat cost? ▾
The first 5 letters per month are completely free, without registration. An affordable subscription for frequent users is coming soon.
